Rathbun Country Music Theater
April -October
Saturday Evenings, 8 p.m., One Mile North of the Rathbun Dam

Friday Trolley Tours travel to historic and scenic locations throughout the county and including Courthouse Square District, Mansions on Drake Avenue, the Levee and Historic Churches. Narrative excursion is sponsored by Historic Preservation Corporation. Cost is $3.

The Farmer’s Markets specialize in fresh produce, crafts, baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, ethnic foods. Weekly entertainment.
Municipal Band Concerts
June-July
7:00 p.m., Historic Courthouse Square District
90-minute concert featuring local musicians and a weekly theme. Free.
Centerville Heritage and Wine Festival
June 14, Centerville Historic Courthouse District
Event begins at 3 p.m.
Enjoy Iowa wines and gourmet foods. Events include wine tasting, wine education, grape stomping, bocce ball tournaments and wine sniffing contests. A folklore tent will feature storytelling and musicians during the day. The evening will culminate in a jazz performance in the bandshell.
Summer Garden Tour
June 21, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sponsored by the Centerville Garden Club, the tour will offer a variety of design elements such as water, architectural, stone, and whimsical. Five gardens will be featured with the tour beginning at Indian Hills Community College in Centerville. Tickets are $10 per person with light refreshments provided. Children’s Theatre and Fine Arts Festival
June 28
Historic Courthouse District This regional event features children performing dance, choral and instrumental music and more than 200 exhibits of children’s art on display. Children also participate in mural painging, crafts, trolley rides and jumping tents. The afternoon is concluded with a Missoula Children’s Theatre Production at the Simon Estes Auditorium.
July 4
Fireworks displays in Exline, Moravia and other Appanoose County Communities at dusk.

Departure times 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday; 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.. on Sunday. Moravia Wabash Depot.
